The four functions of the coaching style of management will be presented and illustrated. After reviewing a training film, specific recommendations on how to "STEER" employees will be made (Spot, Tailor, Explain, Encourage, and Review). These steps will then be applied to real on-the-job situations. Participants will practice implementation of the various methods and be given constructive feedback with emphasis on behavior modification.
